The Bible is flawed because man wrote it

The common view most people have regarding the Bible is that it was written by human beings and therefore must be flawed. The problem with this statement is that it cancels itself out by its own assertion. This assertion itself is a human conclusion and therefore must also be flawed. This presents a problem that forces one to examine the evidence behind both claims, and come to a reasoned out verdict, rather than a blanket statement that provides no objective thought.

So often I talk to and hear from people who disregard the Bible because of their subjective belief that it must be flawed because it was written by man. In almost every case when I begin to question them on what they find in the Bible that is flawed, they cannot give me a specific answer. In the rare occasion when one does provide an example of a supposed flaw in the Bible, the problem is easily explained away through a deeper understanding of the context of the scripture in question.

Skepticism of the Bible is always either based on dishonesty or ignorance. In the case of dishonesty, the skeptic has an agenda that does not play nice with a Biblical world view, therefore they must discredit it at all costs. In the case of the ignorant, which accounts for most people in America, these people simply believe what they are taught by the dishonest skeptics without investigating the Bible for themselves. For the ignorant it is more convenient to trust in the dishonest skeptic, because this world view does not hold one accountable for sin.

I admit, I was an ignorant skeptic. However, once I looked into my doubts regarding the Bible, I found sound, logical and amazing answers to my questions. I know every person that reads this has doubts, but I promise you, if you honestly seek the truth and give the Bible a chance, God will answer your questions and eliminate those doubts.

Please become a follower of this blog, and I will provide as much evidence as I can that will prove to you that we can indeed trust the Bible to be the word of God. I will also do my best to answer any questions you may have.

Prophecies Concerning Israel

The state of Israel is one of the great proofs of the divine authorship of the Bible. In the Biblical books of Isaiah, Ezekial, Zechariah, and Hosea we read prophecies about Israel in the last days. These prophecies not only declared that Israel would be destroyed (Matthew 24: 1-2) (as it happened in the 1st century AD), but that it would be re-established as a nation and that Jews would return to their land from all over the world (Isaiah 11: 11) (which has been happening since 1948). The prophets also declared that in the last days Israel would be the center of conflict throughout the world.

These recent events in Egypt testify to this prophecy. I assert this based on the rhetoric coming from those who are pushing for an extremist Islamic state like Iran. There have been declarations of war against Israel, which again coincides with the scriptures where the Bible predicted that the whole world would turn against Israel. (Zechariah 12:2-3)

Right now the United States is Israel's only true friend, but with friends like this administration, who needs enemies. Iran has also only days ago promised the destruction of Israel and America and that this uprising in Egypt will be the beginning of such.

Israel is going to be forced to defend themselves and then that act will be condemned by the world and again the scriptures fulfilled.

After such events a world leader will step into the scene and bring peace to the Middle East. This ofcourse will be the Antichrist.

UFO hovers over Jerusalem

Deception of man, or of Satan. Either way this event was designed to lead people away from the truth of the Bible and lead people into following after signs and miracles. Remember the Bible states that even the Antichrist will be able to perform amazing miracles that will cause people to be deceived. The alien movement is gaining steam again and may prove to be the deception the Bible talks about that will lead people away from the scriptures.

The Bible Predicted The Egyptian Crisis

In this my intitial post on this blog I find it quite amazing, but not surprising that the Bible predicted the events we are seeing in Egypt over 2600 years ago. The prophet Isaiah wrote in the 19th chapter of his book that in the last days Egyptian would rise up against Egyptian. There is also a reference in this chapter to their fear of Israel. This is fulfilled today in how the Muslim Brotherhood has already declared war on Israel once they come to power. Zechariah predicted that the nations surrounding Israel would all come against her as we see happening. The chapter goes on to predict great natural crisis with regard to their water supply being cut off. Finally the chapter concludes with the prophecy that Egypt would turn to the God of the Bible to save them, and that they would indeed join Iraqis to worship Christ.

Now I know the skeptic will point out that most nations have had some sort of civil war or insurrection in their respective histories. So why should we be impressed with the fulfillment of this prophecy? The key is to recognize that this event is happening at the same time many other "Last days" prophecies are being fulfilled. We see prophecies about Israel being regathered and being the center of conflict in the world. We also see prophecies about natural disasters becoming more frequent and more destructive than ever before. We read prophecies about the Roman empire being re-established and then we see the European Union formed. We also see a push for a one world government and economy as predicted in the Bible.

So you see it is not just one event but several that are happening at the same time. Jesus said in Matthew 24 that when we see all these things happening at once, we should make sure we are ready for His return.

What do we need to do to get ready for Christ's return? Repent of your sins, put your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. And then live your life according to His word, the Bible.
