Pearls Before Swine

There comes a time in having discussions with unbelievers about God, that believers have to realize the person they are contending with has no interest in the truth. They are so committed to their unbelief that they reject everything you present. They reject these things not with facts that disprove that which you have presented, but mere opinions and conjecture are thrown at us in a condesending tone.

The book of Proverbs gives some sound advice concerning this. In Proverbs 16:22 ; Understanding is a wellspring of life unto hom that has it; but the instruction of fools is folly.

Who is the fool, the believer or the unbeliever? Psalm 14:1 says the fool has said in his own heart there is no God. That would be your average everyday atheist who mocks the scriptures. And these fools mock the scriptures out of a refusal to understand the point of the scriptures in context. God said the sum of His word is true, not just some of His word.

Proverbs 23:9 says to speak not in the ears of a fool, for he will despise the wisdom of your words.
Therefore certain individuals who continually mock and scorn the word of God will no longer be given a voice on this blog. Dont get me wrong I want unbelievers to question and challenge what is said here in hope that they may also come to a knowledge of the truth. But when I time after time present irrefutable evidence and certain individuals merely cast it off as meaningless, that tells me these individuals have no interest in truth. They are puffed up in pride and full of themselves making themselves out to be wise they become like fools p(Romans 1:22).

Jesus said this in Matthew 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet and turn again and rend you.
I get angry when fools mock God, but I need to be careful myself not to enter into sin as a result of that anger. This is why Jesus also said if you go into a town and they dont receive your message, shake the dust of your feet and leave that town. Therefore I am metaphorically shaking the dust off my feet and walking away from these individuals. Not only because they spoke to me with no respect or courtesy, but also because they rejected The Way, The Truth, and The Life. I pray one day the Lord brings them to the end of themselves and causes them to cry out to Him in repentance that the blood of Christ will wash away their sins.
